abilities: Allison has the ability to make people do things she tells them to when she prefaces the statement with the words "I heard a rumor". The show doesn't lay out all the restrictions or possibilities of her rumoring, but based on conjecture at the current moment, I tend to assume the following: the person she's speaking to has to be able to hear her; her power has some ability to protect her, and most people do not remember directly that they're doing things because she told them, though if someone else tells them so or they're familiar with her power they should be able to figure it out; and while she may be able to do other things with more practice, at the point of canon, she mostly uses it to influence others and cannot just make things appear or alter reality. (At a point in the future she may develop that further, and I'm interested in playing with that scenario if anyone else is, so hit me up.) Until shortly before canon, she's very likely to use this ability on people when there's something she wants from them; if you want to thread without this power coming into play, let me know and I will either go later in the timeline or work around it. After a certain point, it's unlikely to come up unless she feels that somebody's life is directly in danger (particular her own or her family).

fourth-walling: Have fun.
hugging/kissing/flirting: Go for it. Allison isn't the touchiest person overall, but if she likes people she'll be happy to take hugs, kisses, and random expressions of affection from them. She'll be less happy with strangers, unless it's in a professional capacity, and in earlier timelines will likely rumor them to stop if they won't do it when asked. Flirting is fine, but she'll probably be more friendly than actively flirty back for the most part.
fighting/injury: Yes; Allison has been trained to be a superhero since she was a kid, and can fight very well. She has no enhanced strength, speed, healing, etc, and can be injured. However, in earlier parts of the timeline, she will rumor people fighting her without hesitation as long as she's capable of speaking; even after the point where she's unlikely to use it in most circumstances, she will probably rumor someone if she's in enough danger.
supernatural effects: Go for it; she has no blocks, and no way of telling if anyone's influencing her supernaturally or in her head. If made to see people, she may attempt to rumor them; if they don't respond, it will tip her off that something's going on, and rumors could possibly affect whoever's influencing her if they can hear it.
sex: Let's discuss, but I generally prefer fade-to-black.

offensive subjects:

• I would prefer not to have graphic descriptions of gore sprung on me without warning.
  
• Allison had a fucked up childhood being trained to be a superhero under an abusive and emotionally neglectful father, so if you'd prefer to thread with her but avoid the details of that, let me know. There is also a canonical incestuous feelings between her and her brother; that is unlikely to come up outside of threads with canonmates, but if you want to be sure it doesn't, or make sure it doesn't with other Hargreeves, let me know. She's also, until a certain point on the timeline, very likely to use her ability on other characters, as outlined above.
  
• Allison's issues and reactions vary. Depending on the timeline, some topics she's likely to have a bad reaction to people bringing up include: her dead brother, her missing brother, her sister's tell-all book, her divorce, being separated from her daughter, or her lifelong habit of using her power to get what she wants. Depending on who's bringing it up and in what context, her reaction might be to change the subject, rumor people into not talking about it, or get defensive; she is unlikely to be violent, and will most likely not explode unless pushed heavily.

default canon point: Variable; I prefer between pre-canon and post-S1 AUs. I am generally more interested in playing with either AUs where various Hargreeves land in the 60s together or post-canon reactions than playing with most of what happened in S2, but I'm canon current and willing to listen to ideas, especially with siblings or maybe Ray.

shipping preferences:

• Good with F/F, M/F, threesomes/moresomes/polypiles, canon, cross-canon, etc.
  
• Canon favorites: Any of the other Hargreeves siblings.
  
• Cross-canon types and dynamics: People who aren't afraid of her power, or what she might do to them; other parental types; people who bring out her competitive streak; people who bring out her caring, nurturing streak. For younger Allison specifically, people who encourage and indulge her in her use of powers, possibly for their own gain; people who would take her in as a slightly-manipulative stray shortly after leaving home and help her adjust to not being in the Academy anymore.

want ads: All kinds of Hargreeves sibling stuff: bonding, fighting, growing up, missions, stopping yet another apocalypse, seriously anything. AUs where instead of all going off alone, Allison left initially with one or more of the others, either bringing them across the country with her or deciding not to go that far immediately; trying to make things work, connecting and adjusting to life outside the Academy together, gen or shippy. AUs where instead of landing alone, Allison lands in Dallas with one or more of the others. Various AUs where the Academy are supernatural creatures instead of superheroes: werewolf pack, vampire collective, fae, etc. Dealing with her insecurities and guilt about being a mother by parenting others. Dealing with guilt and issues about how she's used her powers, possibly by using it on people at their request to help them.
